WENDY COCCHIA, O.B.C. LL.D. (HON.)

"You don’t follow the trend, you create it!"

A serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, Wendy Cocchia is a creative powerhouse, continually pushing the envelope in every endeavor she undertakes.
It all started 20 years ago when Wendy co-created the Absolute Spa Group alongside her husband. From those humble beginnings, her award-winning spas are now nine in total and attract influential business leaders, dignitaries and A-list celebrities.
Since 2002, she has also operated Soluzione, an international spa product distribution company which distributes to over 2,000 spa accounts worldwide.
Wendy’s other passion is philanthropy. She co-created the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN), a state-ofthe- art national knowledge centre for Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.
To date, she has raised $31 million in funding for the Network, which will open the GoodLife Fitness Autism Family Hub and provincial spokes in late 2016, allowing individuals with differing abilities to access information, support networks, professional assistance, treatment plans and other resources.
